What Makes BRIK & PEARL® Different?

One of the major differences is found in Bond Flex Step 1.

Bond Flex uses a hybrid dual-reduction system combining Ammonium Thioglycolate (ATG) and Cysteamine HCl.

The combination brings together the efficient reducing performance of ATG with the flexibility and broader processing control associated with Cysteamine HCl.

Its controlled viscosity also supports accurate application across a variety of professional treatment methods, giving trained professionals a system that can be used across a broad range of approved lash lifting and brow lamination techniques.

Bond Flex also contains KeraVeg-18, a plant-derived protein and amino acid complex designed to interact with chemically treated hair.

Supplier testing has demonstrated an improvement in the strength of chemically treated hair of up to 21%, helping support the condition and integrity of the hair fibre throughout the service.

This adds another consideration beyond simply restructuring the hair, with the formulation also designed to support the condition of the lash or brow hair during professional chemical processing.

Meet Bond Flex – Step 1

BRIK & PEARL® Bond Flex is the restructuring stage of the system.

Natural lashes and brow hairs contain disulfide bonds that contribute to the shape and structure of the hair fibre. Bond Flex temporarily modifies these bonds, allowing the hair to be repositioned into the desired lift, curl, direction or brow shape.

Its hybrid dual-reduction technology combines ATG and Cysteamine HCl, while its controlled viscosity supports precise professional application across different treatment techniques.

Processing decisions should always be based on the client's natural hair strength, texture, density, porosity, resistance and previous chemical service history.

Following processing, Bond Flex is thoroughly removed according to the approved professional treatment protocol before proceeding to the next stage.

Meet Bond Lock – Step 2

Following restructuring with Bond Flex, BRIK & PEARL® Bond Lock performs the neutralising and stabilising stage.

Bond Lock uses a hydrogen peroxide-based neutralising system to support controlled oxidation, reform the disulfide bonds and stabilise the lashes or brows into their newly created shape.

In simple terms:

Bond Flex allows the hair to be repositioned. Bond Lock helps reform the bonds and stabilise the hair in its new position.

Together, Bond Flex and Bond Lock allow trained professionals to restructure and stabilise the hair across a broad range of lash and brow types and approved treatment techniques.

LASH LIFE Volume Filler: More Than a Finishing Conditioner

One of the most versatile parts of the BRIK & PEARL system is LASH LIFE Volume Filler.

Rather than functioning only as a conditioning treatment at the end of the service, LASH LIFE has been developed to perform three professional roles.

Step 1.5 Treatment

Following Bond Flex, LASH LIFE can be used according to the approved Step 1.5 protocol to support the removal of residual Step 1 product, assist with pH rebalancing and help prepare the hair structure for the stabilising and oxidation stage performed with Bond Lock.

Monofusion™ Companion

LASH LIFE can also be incorporated into approved Monofusion™ techniques according to the current BRIK & PEARL professional treatment protocol and training.

Leave-On Finishing Filler

At the completion of the service, LASH LIFE can return as a leave-on finishing filler, deeply conditioning, hydrating and softening the hair while visibly enhancing the appearance of smoother, fuller and more conditioned lashes or brows.

Its peptide-rich, hydration-focused formula includes a sophisticated combination of cosmetic peptides, polypeptides, botanical extracts, humectants and conditioning ingredients, including:

Bond Flex, Bond Lock and LASH LIFE are each presented in a 10ml airless pump bottle.

The airless system has been selected to assist with controlled dispensing and product protection, while helping minimise unnecessary exposure of the formulations to air.

Each 10ml bottle can provide up to 40 services when using approximately 0.25ml per treatment.

The products have a three-year unopened shelf life from the date of manufacture and should be used within three months of opening. A dedicated area on the bottle allows professionals to record the date it was opened.

BRIK & PEARL products should be stored upright between 4°C and 24°C.

Does BRIK & PEARL® Replace Elleebana One Shot or Elleeplex Profusion?

No.

BRIK & PEARL has been developed as a premium professional system that sits alongside Elleebana® One Shot Lash Lift and Elleeplex Profusion® Lash & Brow Lamination.
